Cafe Plant.

Finding non-organic eateries in Marina district is nearly impossible with the exception of a lonely KFC that stands out like a viking on a nude beach. However, there's one organic cafe attracting a constant flock of gourmets from all over the city and there's a good number of reasons for that.
Cafe Plant was founder by firm believers in organic food, dedicated to serving dishes both healthy and delicious. Simon, Cafe Plant's manager told me that he was always longing for "a place where people of different dietary needs could come and dine together" briefly mentioning the pain and suffering he went through growing up as a vegetarian in a harsh carnivorous environment. Indeed, the menu is abundant with dishes to suit any taste: from sandwiches and smoothies to entrees and desserts there's something for meat-lovers, vegetarians and vegans.
Simon also pointed out that in Cafe Plant "everything is recycled," which includes kitchen appliances inherited from the previous eatery on 3352 Steiner and tables made out of a barn ceiling. If that's not being one with nature and animals then I don't know what is.
One of Cafe Plant's most popular items is the garden burger, which is entitled "amazing" by almost every yelp reviewer (mainly because yelp reviewers seldom use other epithets.)
Cafe Plant stands strong and proud in the world of tomorrow: thanks to their timely twitter updates busy Marina dwellers can always check if their favorite soup is available and save time to buy a new collar for their precious pets.
